On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,978. The total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 2.958 billion and the number of lots traded was 10,642. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 1.080 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 860.923 million, WTI crude oil PKR 772.355 million, silver PKR 196.731 million, copper PKR 42.145 million and Brent crude oil PKR 6.172 million.
